The holy card or prayer card is a printed picture of a saint or other holy figure traditionally used by Catholics for prayer and religious contemplation. These gold-edged, 4" x 2-1/2" paper prayer cards were printed in 1937 by the Cavro company and depict a chalice reflecting the image of Jesus. They're just like baseball cards only much, much holier!
